Awaji Island Marugoto Peko Tamayaki was introduced in a special issue of Jalan.
Cute colonized petite onions are roasted whole over time.
The bite-sized varieties were slow-cooked to give people the chance to eat the whole Awaji Island onion.

The burger restaurant's new side dish uses "peko onions," the smallest of the onions grown on Awaji Island. The spicy seasoning enhances the sweetness.
