Awajishima Burger Awajishima Onion Kitchen" was introduced on co・op station 6!
Uzumachi Terrace was established in 2023 at the southern tip of the island, in a location with a great view of the Naruto Kaikyo Bridge. The popular "Michi-no-Eki Uzushio" facility at the foot of the bridge is under renovation through the fall, so it is open here for a limited time. The "Shop Uzunokuni" in the building with a large roof covered with Awaji tiles offers a wide selection of souvenirs, including more than 100 original items!
Under the theme of "local production for local consumption," the restaurant offers soups, curries, and dressings starring specialty onions, as well as sweets made from Awaji Island milk, and other products available only here. The well-known "Awajishima Burger" is the first and second place winner of the National Gotochi Burger Grand Prix, as well as a new special burger. Sit on a bench overlooking the ocean and enjoy the spectacular view.
Awajishima Onion Beef Burger, winner of the National Gochi Burger Grand Prix, 850 yen. The burger consists of an 8mm thick onion cutlet with sweet and spicy Awaji beef and tomato sauce. Uzushio Blue Lemon Soda, 500 yen.
