Torafugu (blowfish) is carefully and overprotectively raised for three years in the Naruto Straits.
Most of the tiger pufferfish available on the market are less than 800 grams in size after being raised for two years, but three-year old torafugu is raised for one year longer, taking the risk of growing to over 1.2 kilograms.
