It was developed by six young staff members of Uzunokuni Minami-Awaji, which operates the hotel. The "Awaji Island Sea Urchin Cream Croquette Burger" (1,080 yen including tax) went on sale last October, and the more powerful "Kyoku" went on sale on January 2.

The rich "sea urchin cream croquette" made with fresh sea urchin and Awaji Island milk is topped with a special demi-glace style "sea urchin glass sauce" and a generous portion of fresh sea urchin from a single sheet of sea urchin. The burger is served on a black bun that resembles a shell with squid ink mixed in. The burger is sold in a wooden box. The wooden box is wrapped in a furoshiki (wrapping cloth) dyed with onion peels by the women's club of the Aman community association of the same city.

On the 7th, a couple from Saitama Prefecture purchased the burger for the first time and were impressed with the product. Shobei Tsutsui, manager of the Awajishima Onion Kitchen Uzu no Oka, which sells the burgers, says, "I hope that more people will come to the island to enjoy Awaji Island's fresh sea urchins in a casual way as burgers.
